Patients elect to undergo cosmetic dentistry procedures for various reasons from repairing a small defect to improving the overall appearance of their smile. Whatever the reason, the ultimate goal is to restore your confidence in your smile.

Common cosmetic dental procedures can be performed to correct misshaped, discolored, chipped or missing teeth. We can also change the overall shape of teeth whether they are too long or too short, have gaps, or simply need to be reshaped to improve aesthetics in a way that can also enhance function.

For these and many other reasons, cosmetic dentistry has become a vital and important part of the care here at Steadman Family Dentistry.

Some of the more common procedures involve:

A simple cosmetic procedure in which we use tooth-colored material to close gaps or change tooth color. We use a shade guide to match your bonding with your surrounding teeth. Bonding can be completed in a single visit.

With newer ceramic materials, EMAX and Zirconia, entire mouths can be restored in beautiful, all-ceramic restorations. These materials have been proven stronger than previous porcelain fused to metal restorations and are more aesthetic. Ceramic crowns may be used to cover teeth that have discoloration, or are broken and decayed.

These ultra-thin porcelain coverings placed over the front of the teeth mask imperfections and look just like natural teeth. Veneers can change the color or shape of your teeth and can correct unevenly spaced, crooked, chipped, oddly shaped or discolored teeth.

Whitening is used to reverse the effects of aging and make teeth brighter and whiter.
